are these actually considered nerfs because the only things i've seen nerfed on him are his saplings but considering on how he was meant to be a frontliner or some guy that has good zoning tools and cc why would you want to build ap on him?

and it really dont benefit him greatly for having lots of AP...

ideally he is meant as a peel,defensive tank and his ult is best as counter engage after the enemy over commits
but i have idea about how to make him more viable in the way rito wanted to and its not giving him more damage or ratios and this comes from playing the rework and my experience on the champ. not to toot my own horn just as a way of saying i kinda know ... i am the 12th ranked player in NA on maokai via mastery score and 61st in all of league
