So About The New Champion Select
Now before I begin, this isn't some post complaining about the new system. It's great and I like it myself. But it does have some flaws that I think should be fixed! Ever have that one guy who doesn't lock in a pick or ban a champion and then you end up back in queue. I have this happened to me multiple times in a row and it can be frustrating. To be honest, I was also one of those people who didn't ban or lock in a champion. To me, it seems to happen a lot more often in the new champion select. Why? Well its simple. Unlike the old champion select, the new one doesn't have a indicator when you are picking or banning. For example, the old champion select will "pop up" and make a indicating sound effect. When I say pop up, let's say you are searching on YouTube for a music to listen to during your game. Now you're looking for the music but your lock in timer is ticking down. And eventually, you will dodge because you didn't lock in. In the old champion select, the League of Legends client will pop up and interrupts anything you are in the middle of, letting you know that it's your turn to pick or ban. However, I noticed the new champion selection doesn't have that function anymore and it's frustrating because I got a 30 minute queue time out and I had no idea it was my turn to pick when I was looking at the board during champion select. I think the client pop up function should be added to increase the chance of people noticing that its their turn to pick or ban.
TL;DR When in champion select, add the function where the client will pop up and interrupts anything you are currently doing(like the old one does). This will make sure the player knows that it's their turn to pick or ban.
