Balance of Zed

As a zed main my opinion is biased. Zed feels rather weak or more so frustrating to play. There are so many comparisons how a mage/fighter will have less gold/items then you, and still winning trades.

I believe lethality is the cause of most of the problems. Lethality feels useless against anyone that builds armor. Most mages just rush zhonyas which makes it alot harder to find the scenario to kill them and makes it also harder to poke them or trade with them simply cause they get dmg and defense and now you do no dmg. There isnt much reason to pick zed over someone like akali (extreme example) who has wave clear, a faster burst, healing, more escapes, and a shroud that lets her tower dive whenever she wants. The only reason i see to ever pick zed right now is simply cause he is fun and i have been maining him for so long. Even LL Stylish has very openly said that zed is weak right now but his opinion might be just as biased as mine.

Is there something that can be done about lethality or do you think they should just change something on zed? Whats your opinion is zed balanced or no?

I think that Zed is excellently balanced right now.

He has always been a strong pick as far as steamrolling/carrying-ability goes, but in the wrong hands he is totally underwhelming. Point-in-case: the use of Zed's W (shadow clone) and his ultimate opens up some extremely complex play opportunities. If you are someone who plays Zed casually you might be missing out on the fact that after proccing your R you can actually reactivate the skill to teleport back to the spot you originally procced the ult from. Combined with the W-shadow-clone skill's similar teleporting mechanic that could mean a quick escape or a swift pursuit. It's so situational that words fail to do it justice, but enough playtime with champions like Zed Riven Rumble Kennen AzirGnar leads to some incredible tactics that many would see as 'pro' level or something of the sort.

TL;DR: Champions with more complex kits usually get relatively underwhelming stats. Their strengths lie in their versatility/difficulty.
