and my team was full bronze randoms they feed so much it was stupid I've played against diamonds in tournaments but my team hasn't so it was a new level for them i guess

In unranked normal games you play against enough dia+ people for whatever reason.

To me it doesn't really matter if he did or not. You can look at my match history and see pretty clearly that I'm consistently matched with plats/diamonds and also with silvers. So not quite to the bronze v diamond extent that he's talking about, but normal matchmaking is pretty awful. People say not to complain, but I think people want to have fun and competitive in normals too. I understand that normal matchmaking is complete separate from ranked matchmaking. I agree that your normal performance shouldn't affect ranked, but the other direction I'm not so sure on. Sometimes there's just awful games. We're not even adding in that with dynamic queue sometimes the team with all the higher ranked players also is queued up as 3-5 (although they could always do this in normals) and also that the role selection was assigned such that the team with the higher ranks got to counterpick 3 or 4 roles including both solo lanes.

e.g. the J4 game (loss) where I went 3/9/5:

My team: Me (gold 5) Silver 1 Unranked (level 30) Level 27 Level 26

Enemy team: Diamond 4 (my lane opponent) Plat 2 Plat 4 Gold 5 Unranked (level 30)

Or my ahri game (win) where I went 6/5/13: Me (gold 5) Gold 4 Gold 4 Level 30 Level 24

Enemy team: Diamond 5 Platinum 5 Gold 3 Silver 4 Silver 5

The first game is clearly worse, and I mean we won the latter game so perhaps it isn't quite as bad as it sounds, but still... pre-30s are getting matched against diamond and plat players in normals. If you want to say they're smurfs, then change it to say that silver players are being matched with/against diamond players in normals.

Yes, it's just normals. Yes, there are probably very few diamond players queuing for normals at a given time and they need to play with someone.

I think your missing the point. Making up bs to try and prove a valid point only helps invalidates the point. While it does occur, making up lies and presenting them as proof is counter productive
