Protect the Queen is essentially a game mode to be played in custom games on Summoner's Rift. The object of the game is to protect your designated queen and eliminate the enemy team's. The first one to eliminate the Queen 10 times (5 times if you're looking for shorter games) wins. The losing team must surrender. It takes place in the botlane side, both jg and botlane. In "Protect the Queen", the roles are:

  • the Queen : designated female character which is the sole objective of the game. Keep yours alive, and kill the other one. For fairness, the Queens are a series of squishy, vulnerable, and relatively immobile support characters, but with some ability to self-defend in the worst cases: Soraka Sona Karma Janna Lulu Morgana Nami The Queen may only back when she or the enemy queen dies. The Queen is prohibited from using item 3157 item 3140 item 3102 item 3026 item 2419. The Queen may only use the Summoner Spells summoner 7 summoner 21.
  • the Knight : The Knight is essentially a tanky, CC-heavy character that follows and protects the Queen at all times, some good ones are Alistar Nautilus TahmKench Thresh
  • the Assasin: the Assasin seeks out the enemy Queen and tries to eliminate her. Any assasin is allowed except for Evelynn.
  • the Wizard: the Wizard is essentially a mage character that has versatility to their play style. One minute they can help the assasin kill the Queen, the next minute they may help the Knight protect their own Queen. Any Mage character may be a Wizard so long as it is not a designated Queen.
  • the Shifter: the Shifter is essentially a mobile, extremely versatile character that can carry out a multitude of tasks. For example, :Riven Gnar LeeSin Aatrox. Like the Wizards, they may defend their Queen, or attack the enemy Queen. Shifters are basically fighters. Kayn must have a designated form in champion select, as to whether he will serve as an assasin (Shadow Assasin) or a Shifter (Rhaast) and he must choose that form. The Shifter cannot be a possible assasin. ANY character that can change forms or has more than 6 possible spells is a shifter . Side Notes : Ivern is considered a Wizard. Camille {{champion:5}Hecarim MonkeyKing Twitch are considered Assasins. Trundle Kindred Illaoi Graves Kennen Vi are considered Shifters. All other juggernauts besides Illaoi are considered Knights. You may not farm or leech lanes other than botlane. Rift Herald and Baron Nashor are not allowed to be taken. Once one Queen dies, the round restarts. Everyone returns to base including the surviving Queen, and you return botlane/jungle to proceed with the next round.

Great idea, but incoming white privileged males that complained about RIOTS "sexism" at the Pax event, ready to call you sexist for wanting a game mode where you protect a female.

Then I'd argue that there are significantly more "squishy", "vulnerable" support female champions than male. The only one that comes to mind is Bard. If they don't like it make their own version called "Protect the King" featuring Darius Swain LOL

I thought Protect the Queen was where you take your 4-man premade into Beginner Bots and follow around the rando.

Is that called Protect the Queen? Idk. What I posted here is just a personalized and updated version of "Protect the Queen" for Summoner's Rift which I played back in 2015 on Crystal Scar. The gamemode dates to 2011 if I'm not mistaken though.
