Riot, we've been begging for new items.

We've been BEGGING for new items for a long time now. We want new kinds of diversity in the game. The reason I'm making this post is to point out to riot that they are doing JUST the opposite of our begging. They removed negatron cloak and now there is 0 diversity for magic resist. You can get your early null magic mantle and then do whatever you want with it. That's now what I want. I want for negatron to still be available, but build into a lot more items than like 4 or 5. I want all of the base stat items to build into at least 10 things. I want REAL diversity. Removing negatron was a horrible mistake IMO. I wouldn't wholy disagree with nmm building into negatron like cloth builds into chain vest, but removing it all together was stupid, inconsiderate to the players and a step away from diversity. Give us back negatron and give us more, ACTUALLY new items. Don't try to just change the ones you already have.

What's wrong with the current items... you're suppose to make a build before the game even starts. And they use to have more items but people kept saying "Too op T_T" "Nerf it ToT" "

You should be able to build to counteract what you're fighting. Making a build before the game starts is EXTREMELY noobish. More items make the game more diverse and interesting.

riot acknowledges that defense items are reactive choices

people buy them accordingly reacting to what is the current threat is

not something you come up with before it happened

You should have an OPTIMAL build if the game is just what you want. However, you SHOULD NOT BUILD BASED ON PRE-GAME! BUILD BASED ON THE CURRENT THREAT AT HAND!

You're somewhat right. You should have a wide range of options picked out for each situation. Should you encounter a heavy AP team. A heavy AD team. Or a team of mixed damage or true damage which would require a lot of health. You're given the option to make a fairly massive list of items for each champion, just one build path for them is really a waste.

Riot is currently testing out the possibility of returning negatron cloak on pbe right now. In the mean time, Riot has released a bevy of new items. item 3801 item 2138 item 2137 item 2139 item 2140 item 3711 item 3713 item 2053 item 3800 item 3715 item 3706
