So i had around 150k blue essence when the switched happened but I had most of the champs already bought. I didn't bother buying anything they had available at the time as I thought they would always be available for blue essence, ie emotes and skins. Now it seems I can only buy champions I already own. So, is there anything I can actually buy?
I mean, they were VERY VERY clear that the blue essence shop was specifically a limited time only. So to answer your question, nothing. Sit on it, buy new champions when they come out, and wait to see if they ever do another shop (unlikely).
Thats like asking what can I buy with IP if I already own all the champions and most of the runes I want. The answer is still the same.
You can wait until the Essence Emporium rolls around again, you can wait for a simple Chroma IP sale, you can get Champion Mastery, Rune Pages, some Summoner's Icons, you can gift your friends the Santa Baron 2017 Icon, you can wait for the next Champion to come out, and you can wait for other random events that let you use IP.
