My thoughts about Soraka Rework

5 because the design team achieved one of the goals: remove her from top/mid lane.

A few things still bothers me in rework:

-The main and only source of damage also becomes the main and only source of sustain; Without the Astral Blessing sustain, solo lane as Soraka becomes unviable, even if the new passive interaction with starcall provides her some heal. As ive heard before Soraka is no longer a champion that "even a monkey" can play just pressing Q all day to farm, harass and get kills but still this change cant provide enough viability in both solo and duo lane. Just the fact she have a heal skill (the strongest of the entire game btw) that she cant use on herself is enough reason to avoid her in a solo lane.

-Ambulance Soraka; The new passive is mostly useless in lane. In solo lanes it will only have effect during (possible fail) ganks and as support role it only have some effect when she recall leaving the adc by himself, what, if her partner knows what hes doing, he will play safe preserving his hp what will result in the passive never be activated. During team fights will be the only moment when the passive will probably be activated.

-Silence area; Dont get me wrong, silence area is an awesome change but would be mostly useful in solo lanes, thing thats unviable now. In duo lane the skill can prove to be useful but still hard to hit full potential and it removes part the Soraka's personality. Soraka is known as the greatest sustain supports with her strongest also longest cooldown heal also mana sustain.

In resume, Soraka is now a (even) lower tier Nami. As so i see no point in use her if i have access to Nami who have more options on her kit to engage/disengage (bubble still works way better than the area silence and the wave provides extra area CC) , she is the second in sustain power with lower cooldown, buff effect and still works as a multiple targets poke/heal.

From what I've read on PBE:

Yes, hitting her Q is more difficult now, esp if you want the slow. It's so difficult some people have complained it's too easy to avoid, thus shutting down your healing engine. This is going to be very problematic as she can't heal up from her W if no enemies are in range. Compared to other supports, her damage has been called useless by many, particularly in late game team fights.

The range on her W is too short and she's got issues in team fights because of it, is easily kited by the player you want to heal (say he's at 45%), and can't be used as well in jungle fights now.

For her E, people can walk out of the silence and getting the root to stick is difficult.

Now there are a lot of people on the PBE who like the rework, but there are a lot who have issues with it as well. Since I'm me, I'm thinking that the people who brought up issues are a little closer to the truth of the state she's in than the people who love the new kit. I really think once the change goes live, her win rate will probably be about what it is now or a little worse.

Well provide a feedback is kinda complicated because theres many haters who dont want their main champions countered or want champions that they dont know how to deal with nerfed or even preserve their OP champions unaltered.

Im trying to point my good and bad experiences w/ her in both Live and PBE and hope for someone from riot take it in consideration.

Im notreally a Soraka's fan, my taste is more for aggresive/tanky/utility champions like Thresh/Braum, i just play sustain supports when i feel lazy beside lately i had played a lot of games as it.

While I think the soraka rework was in the right direction as now she has real gameplay, she's honestly just terrible at the moment. Her heal is strong but she quickly kills herself casting it, she can't build health to mitigate the cost of it and is to squishy not to build health. Her cc takes to long to bind, her Q is hard to hit and doesn't heal you enough to make it worth casting your W. Her ult is still strong which is good. Her passive is ok but honestly if someone is low enough for her to get to use it, then usually they will be dead pretty quickly before she can get there and even if she does get there she has to kill herself and put herself in range of enemy assassins. I don't really see a reason to play this soraka rework at all honestly. There isn't anything about it that makes it worth picking nami or even sona. Tl;dr rito buff soraka pls....
