If i dodge my gold to plat promo so i stay in gold, are there any negative consequences? All my friends are silver in real life, so I won't be able to ranked with them anymore if i go to plat. Just curious, because i would rather not lose actual games, but don't want to get ranked restricted or something like that. I was plat all last season, so since I got placed back in gold after the reset, I've been thinking about staying down here.
I actually had the same issue as you
Last season I ended G1 so I wouldn't leave all my friends If you dodge promos you will only lose promo and get the basic queue time penalty
But, after thinking back, IMO it's best if you go to plat My friends and I can just play normal's if we want to play together Ranked is a place where the game comes first and friends come second
I have a lot of friends that like to play ranked and want me to duo with them because I play a good top main. I told my good friend that if he goes diamond, then I'll go into plat. lol
