Vlad w/phase rush

I am legitmately looking for something that counters vlad with phase rush. Vlad first bought Ionian boots and Hextech Protobelt. Every time I would walk up, and actually attempt to punish him, he would simply use q, press e, and then w away with at least 200 more move speed than me. Even though I bought executioners I would be out traded at level 9, and then when i did win trades he would use the method previously mentioned. At this point he would also use protobelt active for a dash away as well. I actually don't know who (that is melee) could possibly fight that. Any one noticing the movement speed creep occuring to melee champs? Where you simply can't even reach your enemy.. I had ghost and was playing Darius btw, and he still out ran me with phage passive, tier 2 boots, and ghost.

Honestly, Darius can beat him, the secret is getting as much MS as he does including through runes. Vlad's early game is weak as shit, so playing a champion like Darius who has strong early game just turns it into a skill match up. Darius 100 to 0 is miles better then Vlad's early so if you can bait out his W in anyway, he is dead meat in most situations.

That said, Vlad's kit from the ground up is good all around for dealing with melee because of its tools, you are better off picking a ranged champion against him who has just as much burst as he does and can engage from a range when they are ready, like Ryze.
