Are too many 'OP's' a good thing?

Disclaimer: This is my opinion, I tried to desalinate this post as much as possible.

I think that the more champs you have to ban means a game isn't balanced. If a game had too many things to ban, you just take what is left over, and that is bland. That would cause people to play and see only a very small amount of champions just because people consider them to be 'OP'. If you have a small pool of champions that are so much better than the rest, why play who you like to play, play what's OP.

These are all the champs that I consider to be good bans because they are so strong right now: Corki Ezreal DrMundo TahmKench Fiora Gangplank Lux Soraka Udyr Quinn Graves KogMaw Malphite XinZhao

All of these make a complete team comp. Say your team gets Corki , Lux , and XinZhao , but the enemy gets only KogMaw , it doesn't seem to matter about player skill. It only seems to matter about who has what. The ELO I play in is around a gold elo and this seems to be the case. What do you guys think about having too many champions that dominate everything?

The community decides what is OP and not OP. Riot has a hand in balance, but some things the community can't stand- And that is actively working to play against something (Counterplay). Before people found her OP build people hated Fiora over her kit- Which was clearly defined in counterplay (don't let her hit the vitals)- but people refused to play "Mario Party".
