Riot make his ult not only work on knockups but also jumps, for example if i tristana does her jump i can catch her mid air with my ult.
This idea is do to yasuo current balance where he is in his current condition, "urgot tier". Pls riot, just this little buff will make him viable and balanced again :D

Jumps aren't coded as anything but dashes. From a gameplay standpoint, Trist is using a dash.
Aside from that, it's too specific a counter. You get to ult a specific set of champions just for them using a necessary skill. Too easy. Minimal skill needed on the part of the Yasuo player or anyone on his team to get an ult.
