Need more Ranked Incentives

So I've been playing league for quite some time now. Every season, I always strive for gold to get the skin and then stop playing ranked entirely since I don't see much point to ranking any higher just for a different border. In addition to, all my friends share the same philosophy as I do. I think there should be more incentives to play ranked such as another free skin for plat, diamond, master, and challenger respectively. I would even settle for some orange essence and they could vary it as well per tier. I'm sure it should be an easy feat to achieve and by doing so it might even solve problems of higher wait times in higher elos. Just my two cents on how to improve the game and keep it .
