Spell vamp on jungler item "devourer"

I've been playing many junglers since the new season and have used the new devourer item many times to wreck late game just as wriggles used to do. But what i noticed was that my life steal wasn't really that substantial. So i was wondering if i had built a hextech instead of a BOTRK, if my stacked magic damage as well as the AD that i had built would make more of an impact on my life steal ability. So in short: does the magic stacked from devourer proc spell vamp?

No.

Spell Vamp is triggered by champion abilities that are flagged to trigger it. It doesn't matter what the damage type is.

Like the other guy said, NOPE.

Spell vamp isn't actually tied to the magic/physical split of several stats in LoL. It's tied to the auto-attack/ability split instead.

For whatever reason on-hit effects aren't considered an ability or auto-attack, so no luck there.

And as far as I know, Poppy's Devastating Blow is the only skill capable of using both life-steal and spell vamp at once, for all other cases abilities only get life steal or spell vamp (and in some cases like on-hit, neither).

On the plus side - the on-hit damage from Devourer isn't reflected by Thornmail, reduced by Tabi or Doran's Shield, set to 0 damage when you're blinded, or blocked by Fiora/Pantheon.
