Team that counters Yi+tips/A little eye opener for riot to prove that nerfing Yi doesn't make sense

This team is hardest for Yi, completely counters him in every way. But they still left a 'yi is broken' in their patch notes. I would know because I one trick Yi on my alt or at least I used to before I quit in may 10.

Burst and CC together both counter Yi HARD. Riot nerfs to Yi are 'insane' and claim he has no counterplay when most champions either have a stun, can burst damage, or have some cancer hard cc in their arsenal.

If anyone picks Yi use them because you will win 100%!

He has no CC just damage so have fun crushing this broken champ guys!

As you can see riot, he has a lot of counterplay(probably too much). I played him since 2015 and I quit from your 9.10 patch thats how bad it is.

He's also countered by slows Ashe DrMundo after his ults runs out due to delays and stunned so he cant reach you and he has to wait 60 seconds-75 sec for ult again

Caitlyn and jinx are not counters to yi...... where the hell does this even come from? Also thornmail and tabis also don’t counter him that hard. Cause true damage.

Damage reductions also don’t counter him. Because true damage.

Caitlyn does, jinx has aoe damage too but also in the fact that she isn't the only champ on the enemy team so we have others like leona keeping Yi stunned while she rapid lethal tempos on master Yi and kills him under 3 seconds. Also Yi's tend to go at the fighters first to stack guinsoos well that means caitlyn can attack him as she pleases and she has more attack range than alpha strike range.

So they don’t counter yi, teams do. :/ The same thing will happen with any champion. You focus one person while another focuses you, you die.

Damage reduction doesn’t. Because again. True damage. Not to mention the armor pen he gets. And you can’t stack much hp into him because he can build bloodrazor and Bork as well.

The only counter to yi is hard cc. And hard cc counters everything.

Well botrk does physical damage and his e is only 50 damage(35% bonus ad) even though its it will technically hit through damage reduction its still far less than his actually AD level. If you are talking about alistar then yes Yi reks his ult because he does 0 damage just resists only. Thats why he is bad but someone like galio or irelia? GG also darius with hp all the time and i couldn't beat him with my attack speed jg item and boots plus he was just 1/1/1. Wan't someone who is also damage reduction against Yi? Jax pretty much cause he doesn't even take true damage LOL Shen cause he may do 0 damage but Yi can't auto attack him but shen can. which chips yi down due to titanic hydra and sunfire cape

Every one of those is you missplaying. Darius is instant gg for you so long as you don’t sit and eat the blade of his q. Jax gets all of 2.5 seconds, then you dodge the stun with alpha, or hell, alpha lasts so long now you could probably just use it until his e end, then you lifesteal tank and wreck him.

Shen. Is this a joke? Shen cannot, will not and never will deal enough damage to kill a yi before the yi does him.
