Don't mistake "underplayed and lots of people don't know how to play against her" as OP AF.
Take Poppy support, for example...a month ago she was all over the boards and internet as "broken" and "OP" and "unfair"...and now she is hardly a threat....
My point is...once people learn how to play against niche champs, they go back into retirement where they belong until a new player-base comes and doesn't know how to play against them. I.E. Karma, I.E. Urgot, etc.
No one's stopping you, she's strong when played right, though not necessarily OP.
However, that doesn't mean she doesn't need an identity rework/"buff". "Just a more damage oriented version of Lulu" is a terrible identity.
Her R-W is ridiculous.
Other than that.... pretty reasonable champion.
I know but full ap karma is fun lmfao. One ENHANCED q killed a nami last game i was in XD
Karma is terrifying if she gets ahead. (Which imo is kind of easy to do.)
Otherwise she relies on ganks to usually get kills.
However, late game she can absolutely destroy enemy squishes with Mantra Q if they get caught out or if for some reason they're not behind their tanks.
Her problem kind of lies in the fact that she usually needs Mantra to do something really useful or hard damage.
She's probably my favorite support right now. That shield and her powerful harass in lane is wonderful. An on point karma completely stops a gank in its tracks and for solo queue, that's an amazing benifit to have.
Plus the near perma shield late game and poor man sivir ult is hilarious.
Karma has a lot of tools and she is really hard to counterpick at mid, but it's a pick that doesn't do very well against tank supports and becomes a worse lulu towards the lategame. I think karma has a quite high skill ceiling, and if you can play her to her full potential, it's a fearsome midlaner/support.
Definitely not op, the more you become accustomed to her kit the more you will see its limitations. She is strong though, and can be fun if you like to play her as a kite mage in mid. Her utility keeps her feeling interesting when playing in solo lanes.
