Promo Helper Fail?

I got into promos for the next divison , won a game and lost a game , when i was on champ select for the last one i accidentaly did not lock in the champion , so i lost promos , but at least had 90 lp , i got to promos again and i didnt have a free win thanks to the promo helper , did it bug or if i dodge it doesnt count as a promo?
