Hybrid champions?

Soooo what champions could possibly be successfully played ap rather than ad. I was thinking that it could work for champions who's moves scale with both. Thoughts?

There are several champs that can find success with either an AP or an AD build. A few can benefit from building both - though this could to be an overall reduction from focusing on one or the other.

top one in my mind are SkarnerSkarner , AkaliAkali , Ezreal Ezreal , EvelynEvelynn , BlitzcrankBlitzcrank , ThreshThresh , NautilusNautilus Just to name a few.

Even though it has been changed and overly nerfed, I like playing AP Trynd from time to time, only for the lol of being able to spin every 6 secs at max CDR and be able to heal from an abusive low CD off my Q.

AP Trynd and AP Xin hold special places in my heart as pocket picks against champs that bruise well but don't have much sustain OR have an annoying escape that needs to be pre-emptively damaged.

I.E. I pick AP Xin against Gnar and rush sheen if I have to so I can get off that E-AA chunking. If he jumps away, I win the "trade". If he fights, I get off my Q and most likely win the trade. If we fight and then return to laning, I dodge his boomerangs and heal from W (seriously, with AP you've got like an entire HP pot in 6 or 9 AAs)
