i really dont understand why tanks can single handedly win games right now. previously tanks were meant to help absorb damage so that team members could focus on other things. It seems that with the right items tanky champions can be the carry and the tank.... this doesnt make sense to me
Because in solo queue you typically don't see much peel, or merc scimitars or mikhael's being used properly.
Pros seem to build QSS a lot, rarely do i see it in solo queue.
Its not tanks that dominate, its bruisers/ juggernauts. :^)
Tanks and tank itemization got nerfed pretty much across the board. Fighters/bruisers are dominating right now which is a problem because when bruisers are strong they crowd out other classes.
Because building pure defensive means you can kill people who build all damage much quicker, and tanks love their "you cant play league, then my adc can jump in and fight while you cant fight back"
It's nothing but a learning process I think that's what Riot is aiming for. Every update they make is focusing on to make better players in the game. Having better players in the game builds a higher profit and community. Tanks are a major asset in this game and I think that's what Riot is trying to demonstrate to the newer players who don't have a clue who to choose to make a better impact towards your team during champion select.

honestly I don't understand it either.
Tanks have the best itemization in the game and arguably the cheapest too and it's the easiest role to play in the game whilst also having pretty meaningful or broken damage (looking at sejuani and maokai)
...yet people claim the tank meta is the healthiest.....
