When it come to the magic of the hextec chests everyone has the same opinion. no matter the game mode if we wreck the enemy team an play like a boss we need keys. key drops have become more rare almost never dropping in any mode other than classic 5v5. no love for the other modes Riot. just a thought.
Sukishoo1 votesI get keys fine in any mode. You can only get 12 frags a month for up to 4 keys anyway.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesKey fragment drops are random (on wins, in modes that grant Mastery), and the drop rate lowers with each one you earn. This rate resets roughly every 30 days after your first fragment; if you aren't receiving any after many wins, you may have hit your cap of 12 monthly fragments and just need to wait on your reset.
Playing in a premade increases your chances as well, so if you want you can run some key farming matches with some friends!
