Yasuo Rework

I heard through several sources that riot is making a mini rework for Yasuo. I know it's not big and I'm not a total Yasuo main myself but I'd hate to see him get the same fate as the Rengar rework where he's clunky and no fun anymore (I was a die hard renear rework since season 3 but stopped after the assassin update screwed him over).

So essentially what I'm asking is, what are the main concepts being looked at for his change and are you making sure he won't be super situational (like Rengar now requires all three basic abilities and ult or a Bush to even have a hope of getting his ferocity)?

At least regarding is fundamentally the same as he was before.. Graves was perfectly fine and balanced then he turned into a new champion for no reason at all

What will likely happen:

Changes to Windwall to make it less aggravating and more skill oriented. EX:

  1. Wall size is now fixed, no longer grows with rank (size is live rank 2 or 3)

  2. Duration now scales with rank, starting at 1 second and scaling up to 2 seconds at max rank.

  3. Windwall now spawns at Yasuo's auto attack range. Drift adjusted so it ends up in about the same spot as live.

Some kind of change to either his Q cooldowns, or his passive double crit... Im betting on Q cooldown change being reverted:

Cooldown: 4 seconds at all ranks 6/5.5/5/4.5/4

This would make windwall less oppressive in its optimal situations, and make it more skill oriented since you can't block things by accident when you throw the wall the wrong direction.

The increased cooldown on Q means fewer Q/AA trades, fewer tornadoes, and fewer free E/Q knockup trades in lane, while remaining strong mid to late game.

The only thing left to do after that is not what people want to hear: Buff Yasuo. That power budget will go somewhere.
