Ideas for Season 5.
Some random thoughts I wanted to put out there and see what Rioters / the community thought.

More bans in ranked. Since the number of champions keeps increasing why shouldn't we have more bans?

Ranked games don't start if everyone doesn't connect to the game. The person(s) who don't connect get a punishment (i.e. 2 hour ranked ban, 4 hour, etc depending on how much they do it)

If someone disconnects from a ranked game during the first 5 (?) minutes, there should be an option after them being disconnected for so long for the team to "surrender". There would be no LP gain/loss or anything. The person who disconnected would get the ranked ban punishment.
Some stuff that might help towards the end of the game if the enemy team has snowballed, that could potentially give the losing team a chance to comeback...

A special buff while you are inside your base walls that would increase you attack and/or defenses. That way you have a way to fight back against someone with 12 kills, instead of a single person taking out all 5 people on your team.

Base turrets should do a little extra damage and have a higher rate of fire (not just the Nexus ones). Shouldn't the base be more "fortified" than the ones outside the base?

Base turrets could potentially do % health per hit. That could maybe fix the problem with someone with high HP being able to tank the turrets while the rest of their team kills it.

Rune prices definitely need to go down! You shouldn't have to choose between getting a new champion or 2 new quints...

(Even if this was only in bot games or custom games...) Different versions of the champions (i.e. old and new versions of champions would be playable, Trundle, Sejuani, Karma, Soraka, Sona, etc.)

Players could customize the champions to make them fit different roles. If you wanted to play Twisted Fate as an ADC, you could be able to switch his ratios to AD instead of AP.
Just a couple of things from me...

Soraka should have another passive, where she would get a % or base # of HP back after a kill or assist. Or her W hp cost should be reduced slightly. People (especially in ranked) have learned all of the new Soraka's tricks and can easily dodge her Q. It's very hard to get health back anymore :(

Is there a reason that Riot decided Karma should not have a wave clear spell in her relaunch? I will admit that I'm slowlyyyyyy getting used to her new Q finally, but I still hate that minions can block it so easily. I also think it should have a little more range on it since minions are able to block it. (Ezreal's Q goes just as fast, but travels farther). The animation is also weird to me. When you shoot it, towards the end, it "fizzles out" and even though that animation goes through minions, it doesn't register as a hit. I don't know how many times I've "hit" something/someone, but it's just the animation fizzling out.
So there's my idea's for now. Hopefully Riot sees this and gets some ideas, especially for the base, from this!
