Evelynn's charm doesnt provide an assist...

So i've been playing Eve for many seasons now, and i enjoy her latest reworked iteration. One thing that really gets me though is the fact that her charm doesnt provide an assist..

I mean, this makes absolutely no sense at all, you can pop a heal on an adc, they get a kill and you get an assist, but marking a target with charm doesn't. It even puts my skill on cooldown. Thus this should really be rewarded with an assist point.

Charm isnt just a CC, it scares people out of lane, away from towers, out of bushes, and out of fights. It is its own CC in terms of use.

Please Riot add assist points to Eves charm whilst a player is killed while being marked.

i think it should. one scenario that happens a lot is a tank or brusier is running at a carry i charm them as they are being kitting they turn to run so i don't pop the charm and my team turns and kilsl him without me e or qing him

What if they make it so if the full charm gives a +1 assist? You gotta admit there technically is a sort of assist there but it is somewhere in the middle of why don't we points if someone puts down a ward that ends up in a kill? It's gray area

I agree any participation at all should count towards the kill. If I can put a movespeed buff on the support, who shielded the ADC, who kills someone from 100-0 with no damage input from anyone else, and get an assist for it, Eve should get credit for the charm.

Think of it this way, would the enemy have run in the direction they did if Eve didn't put the charm on them? Would the kill have happened if they hadn't run that way?

Psychological plays are as effective, if not more, than heals/ shields.

I agree completely, assisting the team is more than simply damage and healing.

You didn't contribute to the kill if you neither supported the teammate that killed the person or dealt damage or cc all you did was press a button then walk away you shouldn't get gold for that

I disagree - When you get charmed it changes how you play, have you actually been charmed by eve? The whole screen turns pink, and you get a loud audible cue.

This changes the way the opponent will play, many times I've seen a laner flash out of fear without the Eve even revealing themself, this supports the team in more ways than one and I'm sure you're smart enough to realise that busting an enemy laners flash is more than worthy of assisting the team.

Re your "Pressing a button" and walking away - That's kinda how this game works, you press buttons, what's your point here?

There's a difference in what you are actually doing you if you were so useful in killing someone then you would of proced the charm instead of just walking away if this change did go through then you could see a laner about to kill their opponent walk to them press charm then walk away which you are basically saying you're already doing. And psychological baiting varies from person to person so you saying that you putting charm on someone affecting how they play has to do with player skill. So you should not get an assist for doing absolutely nothing besides walk at someone and not even make an effort to help

as a one trick otp evelynn master player , it should not give you assists at all that would be r%%%%%ed, you dont get assists either when you hit someone in a shield, or when your player is missing all skillshots and making the team dodge skillshots so the other c an follow up, you dont get assists for that either,

Just by clicking on someone means you happened to be near the kill. You didn't contribute one bit to the kill until you've actually charmed or damaged the person.
