Since Gangplank's rework, he's obviously way more viable than he was previously. I'm a top lane main, and I mostly play as Kennen. Does anyone have experience with this matchup, or could you give examples toward why/why not Kennen would be a good pick against Gangplank?
Thief of Time3 votesKennen would be a good matchup, as a gangplank off-main, he struggles against anyone with high mobility and or top laners with range to take out his barrels. As Kennen all you have to do is poke and aa the barrels while not getting hit by them if he is able to have one up, which should be easy with your speed up. You will need to make him eat oranges before all inn'ing with ult. Other champs that do good vs gp are gnar and riven

Darth Valer2 votesI think GP can't do much against Kennen in lane, but he isn't shut down easily as well and the pirate outscales the ninja later on.
