Janna isn't fun to play and isn't fun to play against

Janna isn't fun to play
subjective
pressing E is fun?
You obviously dont understand what janna can do.
Yes it might be subjective but, for most people (including me) Janna is just a cheap way to gain elo. Janna has a very low skill floor and a still very low skill cap, if you play her in one normal game you probably will have more than enough knowledge to take her into a ranked game.
then dont say shes boring if this is what you actually mean
I can't fit all of that into a title.
just say this, "Janna is unfun to play against and is obnoxiously easy to climb with"
I have a lot of fun going for full AP Janna builds and getting off insane ultimates which heal my team. Basically, I make the champion way more risk reward than normal so I have more fun. Goal is usually to get ultimates that knock back the enemy and position to heal my whole team.

But yes. She does need some sort of rework.
whether a champion is fun or not it all purely depends on the player. Janna does more than just stay back and press E. She has to learn how to use her spells properly to disengage at the right time. You using your ult to push back someone that would just dash right in your face instantly or to push back one person instead of the entire enemy team isn't the best use of it. Just like using the tornado or your W at the wrong time can cost you a lot. She is a champion that punishes engage heavy teams that have little ways of engaging again once their initial initiation is done. She is best used to defend and peel for her carries. If all a Janna has to do is sit back and press E to win then that player would have won by playing any champion with a heal/shield that they can give to their allies while doing the exact same thing since that means that whoever he was facing was just that bad
Sitting back and pressing E isn't all that she does, Just you don't get benefit from actually trying to do a mechanically intensive outplay. Say you had an opening to q w flash and ult someone into your team, You probably shouldn't do that when you can just use E on an ADC and then movespeed boost them with coin. The same premise goes for using your ult or q to stop a dash, why actually time it correctly when you could just use it right after?

she is not an aggressive champion, she is a reactive champion whose job is to peel and protect her carries. She doesn't benefit from doing what you said because she is not that type of champion. She is there to deny engages, she is there to peel, she is there to protect. She is not there to go and try to flash + ult someone into your team. You would get a lot more from stopping the dash before it finishes than after since that is just unnecessary possible damage done to your team because you decided to use your skills poorly.
Like i said, if you missuing your skills still get you a win, you would have won using any champion regardless of anything since the enemy team was just that bad

That's not true, theoretically you can only miss one of Janna's skillshots and you realistically shouldn't because most of the time you're going to throw your q out and recast q right after.

yeah, because misusing your ult is never going to happen, shielding the wrong person is never going to happen, using your slow at the wrong time is never going to happen. Theoretically speaking tons of champions should be outright broken and certain builds shouldn't ever be possible but that is not how things work in the long run. You also seem to forget that her Q actually gets bigger range and better knockup the longer it charges and that it can be deceptively short on a quick recast. Janna is an easy champion to use but that doesn't mean she doesn't have her own little intricacies
