Im having trouble trying to figure out how to counter a rengar or evelyn late game. When all item slots are full, where do you fit pink ward? I am pretty sure the new sweeping lense does not show invisible champs.. Am i missing something in this new patch?
That is a balancing issue.
They made purple wards far more accessible early game but less accessible late game. The thing is; Once you have ample gold, it is no longer a meaningful sacrifice to purchase purple wards but you are (theoretically) restricted by inventory space.... whereas early game the space is not an issue but the gold is; that is to say it is a meaningful decision to invest gold into the item or to sacrifice an inventory slot to manage the purple wards. It is never a given.
At least that's my understanding of the changes. It is intentionally made that way.
