Im having trouble trying to figure out how to counter a rengar or evelyn late game. When all item slots are full, where do you fit pink ward? I am pretty sure the new sweeping lense does not show invisible champs.. Am i missing something in this new patch?

They made purple wards far more accessible early game but less accessible late game. The thing is; Once you have ample gold, it is no longer a meaningful sacrifice to purchase purple wards but you are (theoretically) restricted by inventory space.... whereas early game the space is not an issue but the gold is; that is to say it is a meaningful decision to invest gold into the item or to sacrifice an inventory slot to manage the purple wards. It is never a given.
At least that's my understanding of the changes. It is intentionally made that way.
dannykun1 votesto elaborate, I believe that this was noted in one of the patch notes that they left it this way to give back power to champions that rely on steal, but that they would be keeping a close eye on the situation and if too many of the stealth based champions spiraled out of control they'd do something about it.

Ultimately, however, pink wards being more accessible earlier means that people cannot snowball early solely because of stealth. This will theoretically also still allow stealth to have power in the late game. However, against a good team, stealth is really not that useful until everyone is full build. As such it's not that amazing of a mechanic this season, all that's changed is that people don't negate at least a fourth of a champion's kit by spending 250/500 gold.

So that trinkets can replace item slots, now it is reverting back, stealth champions were never bad in season 5, rengar was still a beast but at least you had good counterplay. Now if you split up for a second, rengar will just chew a teammate alive and make it 4v5.

What about the fact that season 4-5 they made comebacks easier and easier for a more interesting game. Then this preseason they were like naw, screw that snowball to hell and give the loser no chance to come back.
