Why unranked and players below level 30 are getting matched vs plat/diamond/master players?

Since patch 7.13 im getting matched with unranked players or even people below level 25 in normal games. You think it shoudn't matter because its a normal game but they usually ends up feeding enemy team and I'm simply losing games because of it. I understand they're new players and they're still learning the game but why are they getting matched against diamond and master players. Once there was challenger lb in enemy team and my adc was level 27. It's just much harder to win the game when some of your teamnates have no idea what they're doing.

Because less and less people are playing this game because Riot is a good example of what a company shouldn't be. Riot is the EA of Mobas. Blizzard is the EA of the Fantasy Genre. People are getting matched like that, to make it seem like the game is still popular, and it is.... for those who don't know any better and think Riot can do no wrong. I had this game uninstalled for 3-4 months, I came back and played 2 games and I was reminded why I uninstalled. You can laugh at my Rank, you can laugh at my level and play time. But the sad truth is this game is inevitably dying because riot only caters to pro teams, e-sports, lcs balances and reviews to make a quick buck off fanboy stupidity. I joined in Season 3 when Lissandra was released, I had a massively great time, now everytime I play I have a massively great time uninstalling because it makes me feel better about myself know I don't have to play this.

tl;dr= the games trash guys. defend it all you want, and downvote me but you can't hide the truth forever.

P.S. yes I do play overwatch, and it's hitting the same boat as League, only you have to pay to play that game, and my advice is don't because they think more DPS is the best approach to every hero

if you are an old timer you are possibly aware of this super old exploit, if not let me inform you.

Ever noticed at the begigning of the year, even if you are a diamond player, for some odd reason you got placed super low, for example gold or silver? Or worse you are a gold player who got thrown into bronze.

Than trying to climb becomes hellish, for you are in gold, competing against other plats and diamonds.

At the end of the year it becomes the polar oppisite. If you didn't do your ranked yet, you will be facing against every elo, and even if you lose almost all your games, you will be given a high placement. lose 3 out of 10 at this point of the year, you will get silver anyways, so imagine what happens if you won 8 out of 10?

At the beggining of the year players get placed stupidly low, and at the end of the year players get placed stupidly high.

It's a horrible exploit that riot really needs to fix.

Because Normal MMR and Ranked MMR aren't the same thing. There can be a player who plays almost exclusively Ranked and then in rare occasions, does play a Normal game to play a new champion. Their Normal MMR was never raised so it's pretty basic, almost equivalent to the MMR of new players and exclusively Normal game players who are mediocre. Even if they themselves aren't, A Diamond ranked player can be matched up with or against players of his Normal MMR raiting.

yeah a month ago playing draft we were 3 golds 2 silvers and we got matched against a riven and zed both master, it feels really fair. Even today like 3 hours ago we had two games in a row where we had a diamond, and my last game was my team 2 plats 2 golds and a unranked vs 2 golds a bronze and 2 silvers...it just not fun because it tends to be a stomp.

Because Ranked and Normals are two entirely separate queues with entirely separate rankings. Say I'm of Bronze skill when I hit lv 30. I immediately start playing Ranked and slowly over the years I get good enough to hit Diamond. During that time I've only played Ranked. That means that while I'm of Diamond rank in Ranked, I still retain my Bronze rank in Normals. Once I've played a couple of Normals my ranking will skyrocket and I'll hit Diamond in Normals as well, but that still takes a couple of games to happen. And yes, Normals do have ranks (or MMR as it's more appropriately called) but it's not shown. Even ARAM has invisible ranks. Only way to fix it is to make all queues share or influence the ranking of each other, but that creates other issues. Just because I'm really good in Ranked doesn't mean I'm really good in ARAM, or just because I practiced a new champion in Normals and lost 20 games doesn't mean my Ranked rank should drop.

your rank in ranked doesn't matter when it comes to normals, completely seperate because normal games also have a mmr/elo/lp whatever it is called nowadays
