For the last few months im playing less and less League. Its not because im that busy. I lost interest in it, because of 3 main reasons. Before i explain them i want to say, that i do NOT hate League or smth, i just dont get even 50 % of the fun i had in the past. + Monster Hunter is the best game ever (for the last 10 years).

Matchmaking - i actually read the matchmaking, MMR explanation of Rito, and i must say that even on paper it sounds silly. The theory about someone just having a bad game, and that its not a consistent behaviour - total bullshit. Im talking about players with 15-20 losses in a row. With bad KDA, even witouth any assits at all. Too bad Lol system does not care about KDA, or recent wins/losses or the REAL behavior of a player. Lol is talking about some kind of "skill". How do they determine the level of that skill if they dont care about KDA, recent win rate or Divison? By the wins you have made in a certain Divison. Then does this means i will play with someone that has 300 wins in once certain divison, but 300 losses too. This means that he is a mediocre player that stayed like forever in the same divison, which means his overall skill in the game is the same for the last 600 games. Good luck wining some games with those kind of players. From Gold 4 now i am Silver 3. last 12 lost games : 4 losses - he wanted to try a new champion. On ranked? Rly? REALLY? 3 losses - top player staying at top lane for 35-40 mins, 0 communication, 0 teamplay, KDA 0 10 0 5 losses - "you took my kill you bastard!!! im not gona help you anymore" - how did those guys even get to gold

New ban system - first time i got chat restriction penalty, was when i explained to a player how to play/how his champion skills work etc. He was obviously offended by that - report - ban. The League Bot does not care if you said toxic shit , or you wanted to help. If you wrote too much information, you could be baned. The actuall penalty was not the chat restriction for 10 games - it was 4 months on honor level 1, almost 0 key fragments, and even worse matchmaking because of my low honor level. I think i did reform - i stopped spaming to low players what or why they need to do smth. I did not use capslock. I was not rude. There was that game - 0 13 1 lux mid, 0 11 1 garen top. Both of them GOLD 4. Both of them refused to cooperate with the rest of the team for almost 35 mins. I asked multiple times what divison were they - which resulted in my 2nd chat restriction ban. After all who am i to ask them what division they are?? How rude of me! Instant punishment! Here comes my 2nd chat restricion ban. Now i expect to be on Honor level 1, which means no free shits for about 3-6 months. Plus the matchmaking will be so much worse - ill have to play with honor level 1 players. At least the premade i am playing often, spams, uses capslock, hates, spills toxic and racist words all the time - he is honor level 5. He was never baned due to his behavior, which he admits is way more toxic, than mine. Its a mistery to both of us, how all of this happens.

New rewards, blue essence and crafting - "new rewards" - icons. Nothing else. Icons and more icons. Finish 22 missions to get and icon Tier 1 and icon TIer 3984. So usefull. So epic and eye-catching. Since i got all the champions for more than 1 year, the blue essence is totally useless to me. Oh, yea - im gona wait for 1-2 times per year to buy certain chromas, or WW skin for 150 billion millions. Thanks, rly. Or maybe 30 more rune pages, despite the fact i dont need more than 3. At least i get more and more champions from the chests. Like i need them or i could use them in any way. It seems that when Rito said "we are gona think about the bad luck chest opening etc" it was a joke. So amusing.

As an overall feeling about LOL - i am not having fun anymore. I am not having fun on blind pick with ultra giga trolls, that are never being banned, nor the ranked pigs. Visually the game looks perfect to me, i just love the graphics and animmations and i am going to miss it a lot. I love some champion concepts and the way they can be played. The game by itself its SUPERB. Despite that, the community that Rito has grown, the priority given to younger players that give money (its all because of the money ofc), the level of toxicity, unskilled players and the whole rewarding system, the boosted shits that buy accounts from lol.account.for.30.bucks.com .... there isnt a single thing besides the graphics that stimulates me to be a better, non toxic player, that is happy to help or explain smth to others. If the game had some nice SOLO mode, i would play LOL and enjoy it as much as 2 years ago.

  • You cannot be banned for talking too much.

From your examples above, you were harassing people. Why even talk with feeders in the first place? They've chosen to ignore cooperation and it's not your job in forcing their hand or trying to diffuse the situation. They're unlikely to budge and you're just going to allow the toxicity to seep into the chat in the first place.

Ignore/mute them and their pings and report at the end of the game. Move along after that. You're very unlikely to meet them again and there's no point in flaming/getting salty about a couple of idiots.

  • "I'm trying to give advice to people"

If no one's asking you for it, don't do it. It's not your job to teach people anything in this game. If someone asks what they should go for or what to level first and you know that, do tell them. Otherwise, don't stick your nose in someone's business. I don't care if Ez is jungle and going AP (shooting himself in the foot) but if he fucks up because he's being stupid and is trying this out before he tried it in Practice Tool Mode, i'm reporting him at the end of the game.

If he's the sole reason why we're losing the game and he makes no attempts to rectify his mistake, that's not cooperation and i don't care what's their excuse.

  • You can disagree in chat and even talk smack to others

Riot doesn't ban every bad word nor they make attempts to do so. Competitive banter is one thing, when you start going hard and insulting everyone (or a particular person) trying to one-up their previous comment is what leads to toxicity. Many people can't make this difference because they don't have an off switch, they don't have a middle ground when talking further will just make matters worse. Either you agree with the person or you don't. If they decide to be a dick about it and won't stop talking shit, that's the moment you use the mute button and report after the game.

  • Mute all chat

There's nothing you need to talk with the opponent about. You're trying to win a game, not spend time with the opposing team and not paying attention to your game. And you don't need to listen to them whine about their own teammates or begging for reports or even seeing them post their twitch stream link, for a normal game (3 viewers). Eliminate pointless chat so that you don't have to look at it.

  • Reporting people

Number of reports matters because then the bot flags you for a review but if the reports against you don't set off any flags for any offenses you're account has been reported for, nothing's going to happen. However, if you keep setting off the bot and it constantly doesn't find anything on you, your account may be up for a manual review by Riot - which could indicate you're actually getting on people's nerves for some reason and that it's not an offense that the system can detect. Even if this happens, it still doesn't guarantee that Riot will even punish you for anything.

  • "Can't play normals, ranked is shit".

Sounds to me like you're the problem, not the players. Otherwise, literally every player in your ELO is a problem for you. And that's just not true. With what you said above and now this, it really doesn't sound like you're a guy that is genuinely trying to help others but that instead you do cross the line when you get annoyed by someone.

I can assure you that if someone's being that toxic, Riot's systems instantly punish them. People have reported that they have been banned for saying "kys" in chat. That's how some really offensive words are being flagged to instantly alert the system. So no, that guy is not Honor 5 and you "for helping people by giving advice and asking what division they are when they're feeding" is Honor 1.

There is a huge difference between the quality of player that I teamed up with at the end of last season, when I was honor level 5 (and I got there quickly), and today. It feels like a "Prisoner's Island" despite the fact that I was very honorable last season I feel myself getting more and more toxic because I am with more and more toxic players that feed by a huge margin, talk excrement despite doing poorly, harrassing, backseat gaming, wait afk in team fights to clean up or whine we didn't ace, etc. This is in all game modes, aram, bots, normals. I am at the checkpoint for honor level 3 and I feel like quitting the game.
