Gnar and Diana's Carry Potential?

Recently I've noticed that in my ranked solo queue games i had been able to consistently survive lane, yet when it came to team fights and teamwork overall, our team falls behind rather quickly. So, I've took it upon myself to find a couple champions that not only can i feel comfortable with, but also be able to single-handedly aid my teammates to victory. So, I played a wide variety of champions in various roles over the past few days in hopes of finding a "carry champ", yet the only champions i felt comfortable with and been able to win lane were Gnar and Diana. I do not think of these champions with having "carry potential", yet i found out that both are invaluable in team fights, with Gnar able to put out damage and then disrupt the enemy team, and with Diana being able to continuously isolate and pick off enemy champions. So, this brings up the question: Do Diana and Gnar have enough "carry potential" to be able to not only win lane, but also carry their team to victory in Bronze solo queue? or should abandon these champions for others that have more potential for lane and victory? (I've been recently practicing my Wukong). I would really appreciate your feedback.

Have you tried Akali? Akali and Diana play very similar to each other, and Akali is vastly superior in most situations.

Gnar, on the other hand, can carry games if you get really fed, but he's not a hypercarry that can do enough damage on his own to win teamfights, like, say, Yasuo or Vayne.

I love Diana... I had a 45/6/5 game on her not too long ago as a jungle. Prince is right as well. I did some Akali and she is still good after the shroud nerfs. You would like her as well (I carried my last two games as her hard, 2x damage/kills with a 4.0 avg kda). Katarina can also solo carry to win, same with fizz (I hate him with a passion). These are a few that work well. Most are mid however. One good carry top is Irelia. She is also very fun to play! Have fun!

I dunno if you've ever tried this, but if you want to hard carry as jungle or top lane, assassin J4 is a good bet. His AD ratios are nuts and eventually he becomes unstoppable in 1v1s since you can burst ppl down before they even react. He is naturally tanky as well, so you only need 1 defensive item. I've seen it work several times and I've built semi-glass J4 (with Hydra, Cleaver and Maw) before as well, only picking up Frozen Heart because there was an enemy Vayne. The best J4 I've played with was during one of my failed plat promos, and he ended up with 15+ kills, 1 death and built zero defensive items, not even boots - he got greaves instead.

Of course, only do this if you have another initiator/tank.

Gnars like...a leona/braum sorta chmp full of CC in team fights only difference is Gnar can get around the map much quicker in little form deal tons of damage before he becomes viable becomes big form and CC their team for your teams victory

despite all that, I find that he carries way better than Diane.. just cuz she kinda sucks carry in a jungler/support fashion.. not Adc/Apc tho
