I legit want to know the reason behind having a time limit on the fight, more team comps and builds would actually be viable if it wasn't there...
plus its just plain annoying.

In MMO's and a lot of PvE games, raid bosses (what Kayn essentially is) are usually time limited fights. It prevents cheap hit and run tactics/turtling and forces you to directly fight said boss.
