my thoughts on sona changes

first off, sona is being nerfed so she gets buffed when dj sona comes out (i hope). not many other champions will lose lane after making one mistake like her (getting hooked, snared, bubbled etc.) if the change is made for her high winrate in low elo that is nonsense. the lowest elo support meta is blitz/leona/braum/midlaners all of those destroy a sona of equal skill in lane. here ult hitbox should be fixed. also, her q doesn't feel like it targets as well as it could. you are forced to build her ap because of her low base damage (she has decent-ish ratios). you don't have any cc pre-6 except for your power chords, which low elo players don't use well at all. your existence in lane relies upon dodging the cc that other supports have: morg binding, blitz/thresh hooks, zyra roots, nami bubble, janna knock up, annie stun. so, lowering her move speed doesn't help at all.

tldr: sona is worse in low elo because more people play point and click supports and more assassins. sona is too squishy early and lacks cc to warrant losing ms.
