Verbal Abuse Reporting

I'm getting entirely sick of being reported for verbal abuse when NOTHING I've said in game constitutes verbal abuse. Telling someone to work on their positioning, stating they need to farm before diving into team fights, ect. is constructive criticism. LEARN THE DIFFERENCE. If it was verbal abuse, I would be calling you names, slandering, QQing, raging, flaming. LEARN THE DIFFERENCE. I play ranked. You need to enter a ranked game and play like it's ranked. If you're in the game to learn, you need to go play normals. Take criticism and communicate. It's gotten to the point where I don't even say anything because someone reports you (usually because they're mad they suck) and riot just automatically issues you a warning.

THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED. There is a solid difference between saying the truth that someone may not like to hear, and verbal abuse. People are too happy with the report button and players with the game in mind are getting punished for it.

The truth is never easy to hear. I rarely talk in my games, but when I do it's to ask people to ward because "OMG I KEEP GETTING GANKED, SHIT JUNGLER." But when I check the recap of the game, I consistently find 0 wards purchased for that said laner. Logic cannot outweigh stupidity when it comes to League.

If only it could.

I've started responding to people like that with exclusively philosophical responses, it usually gets them to stop talking because they have no idea how to respond.

It's just bizarre how easy some problems could be fixed, but the person doesn't wanna sacrifice their precious 75g to buy a single ward.

EDIT: I told my friend the other day I have a bad habit of buying wards now because I was practicing a champ in a bot custom and bought 2 wards.. People just need to get into a habit of buying them.

No doubt, my favorite response to give is that "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. So maybe change one of the elements like buy a ward or stop overextending for full minutes at a time."

Shall I just come to terms with the fact Riot will do nothing to fix this? I guess I should just be okay with be wrongly accused and risk the punishment of unjustified chat restrictions... le sigh
