Is Anivia a Champion?

Like I love playing Anivia, many of my friends like playing her too. But it seems that current beautiful meta which you have made is very rough for her, so rough that the legend says she is still scaling after the game. Her base hp is very low, her abilities cost way too much mana, she is completely outdated as well. She can't perform well in any role except support, which is still very weak in comparison to other supports or mage supports. Everything is weak about her, literally; except her base damage. You can't even cancel your Q-Stun after you're getting stunned. You're out of mana after 30-40 seconds, her build is outdated, the runes don't help at all. Her winrate says everything about her too, about 90-95% of mid match ups counter her. Her base movement speed is so low, I feel like I'm walking with an exhaust on my Champion. When I buy boots I have the movement speed of 370, meanwhile I have 350 movement speed with tier 1 boots enemy Jax,Trundle or Kha Zix have that movement speed without even buying them. When I have inspiration boots, better said magical footwear I have 380 which is also extremely low for a Champion with no escape. I have to go celerity to have a movement speed near the standard level. Another thing, people are going through my wall like it does not exist, and I'm sure I'm not the first player informing you of this bug. She is currently sitting in one of the worst places if not the worst in this whole game. I really don't consider Anivia being a Champion at this point of the game, like the weakest Champions currently are: Ivern, Anivia, Twisted Fate and Kalista. Out of all of those four Champions Anivia is the worst for everything. She can't roam, she can't farm, she can't make trades, she can't come to her lane so fast. What can she do at all? She can just farm under tower, and scale after the game is finished? Even when she scales to late game let's say, which is one in ten cases; she is being outscaled by most. I demand you to find one good thing about that Champion other than being a good walking ward. She is making walls which people go through. Her Q is so slow, that you cannot hit anyone at all, apsolutely no chance if you aren't wasting your W to push your enemy to to the Q, which again makes you vulnerable because you don't have a defensive mechanism then. You need to buff her, not a little, what's best replacing her passive with a small dash would be great. She needs a buff, or a little remake, maybe even a big remake. She is a bird that cannot fly. There are so many problems about this Champion, please fix them. Buff her, or whatever just do something. There are also players playing those Champions. Thank you!

I stopped maining her after the insane nerf she got years ago. She stays like that since then, old, outdated, weak, without the cool gameplay mechanics the new champions can provide.

I wait for a rework since then. They can't make her worse than her current state.

most partly agree with u here. For such a low Pickrate the winrate is really lacking aswell and i think the main part is that she is just unfun to play atm, like compare her to actual champions that do something ingame

To be honest I have been playin' anivia for years now and I have over 2.6 m points on her and also reached rank 1 on Anivia and Challenger level many times. Anivia is champion that was released in beta ... Her Abilities are super outdated and can't do anything to other '' new '' champions in this game. Her q ( that does nothin' really special compared to other champion's abilities ) costs for 80 mana level 1 which is actrully insane for abilitiy to be that high on level 1 and it keeps increasing every level ... I know Anivia has a lot of haters and not many people like to play against her but let's be honest how many champs outtrad/outdamage outmove her and everything? she's bein' outscaled by almost every champion in the game even with the the weakest champions for late game. Even champions like zed and similar champions can really easy outscale them eventually ... and let's not say that he is early game champion and is not supposed to outscale anivia later on. Let's just make some quick buffs to her, for example q speed increased and mana cost on q decreased, or if not even that just do some small changes to her or in the worst case just totally rework her. Try spell thief Anivia support. Has a nice aoe skill shot stun that has a 1 second stun at rank 1, her ice walls can set up some nice terrain traps, give her exhaust and she can set up some nice kills.

Ya see, anivia works mid really well because she can do something not many other mages can currently do in the meta, STALL (basically) FOREVER

If you take manaflow band and item 3003 you'll run out of mana by farming midgame with your R after roughly 4-5 minion waves if manaflow band is unstacked. if manaflowband is fully stacked then you'll easily be able to sit at mid for over 15 minutes just clearing waves before they can touch your tower.

Having that power lets you do things like: contest dragon from a really safe distance stop any assassin from approaching you win any teamfight by using R and having item 3151 lategame Burst down anyone who tries to stop you never have to actually get in a dangerous range to get hurt always be safe

Now, it might just be me, but anivia is still strong... just that she's a lategame focussed character in a meta that is most DEFINITELY not kind to lategame scaling characters. Once you hit lategame though, you pretty much just breeze through any teamfight
