A suggestion to help AP midlaners survive assassin lanes.
Hi Everyone,
It came to mind that a simple tweak to zhonyas could help ap mid laners survive the current ad assassins, especially with the new item.
My suggestions are- Seekers armguard now provides the zhonyas effect for a reduced period of say 1 second rather than the 2.5 seconds hourglass provides. This acts similarly and fairly to the hexdrinker counterpart which AD assassins will often build to fend off magic damage. Zhonyas is currently held back by the fact that the recipe cost is expensive after completing the seekers armguard component, however this change will make it possible for ap Mid laners survive things such as zed ultimate and other burst coming their way. Similarly matching the way an early hexdrinker can save an AD laner from being crushed by magic damage. it seems unfair to have such a large counter to magic damage-> hexdrinker, while ap middle laners have a lack of defensive options against ad assassins or burst assassins. hexdrinker provides both offensive and defensive stats, with a defensive passive, seekers armguard should act similarly.
It may seem overpowered or unfair, but currently, middle laners with the release of duskblade are suffering to stay alive in the early parts of the laning phase, even while sitting under tower.
This may help the situation and perhaps reduce the strain of playing against ad assassins in the mid lane.
Thanks, comments and feedback are appreciated.
Also sorry for the weird formatting/long post, I don't post much on boards.
losing 5%.. I find it pretty backbreaking to actually get 40% cdr.. Before you could run 15% cdr per lvl blues, the 5% in mastery for 20% and then grab
or
and be fine.. Now its just painful as fuck.
