i think pyke would be a better assasin support if he had other abilities that really made him a support while being an assassin ( if this gets to confusing just skip to the conclusion

for example instead of camoflauge ( which is a really good ability sadly) i think it should be something that helps your adc so you are more viable to go bot because the way pyke works is he could go midlane and then roam bot and just help them out alot which would really be good if you went this as your build boots are situational but i think mobility boots would go good and i also think once spear of shojhin comes out that you should switch titanic hydra for it or if you feel like it banner since i only chose banner considering how strong it especially that you are roaming . but as i said before if you got something to help your adc then your roams and teamfighting are gonna still be better than going support which would make sense considering that he is supposed to be an assassin.

which brings me on to my next point as to that this champ really wont be a support without a big rework and even with that it wont fit pyke as a champion

conclusion pyke is a failed champion on the sense of him being viable in the bot lane because the way he is played doesnt make him good until he gets his ult and level if the enemy botlane get lvl 2 before you ( which might happen) you are screwed if they go aggro in those short seconds an alternative to pyke would be if you play for his q and e or ( ap support mostly ap burst items like gunblade) ( with lichbane and a bit other ap items ( with liandries) ( build mostly almost full ap) if you play pyke for the damage
