Akali Mini Rework Idea

Ideas on how to many Akali not useless but not overbearing at the same time:

Chance her Q to function similar to Diana Q, now hear me out. Way it would work is she would throw a skill shot that would mark all minions and first enemy champion in the path. Minions after the first hit would take reduced damage from the Q throw so Akali can't effectively waveclear with it. When Akali detonates the mark through her AA or her E, all other marks vanish without doing damage until she recasts Q

Her E: Akali E will now detonate her Q mark, prioritizing champions in the radius, if no champions are in the radius it will detonate the mark on the closest marked minion. This prevents Akali from just Q + E the entire wave to clear it.

W, R and Passive stay as is

I like, but Diana q is a crescent shaped skill shot. Would this proposal you're making be a straight line or boomerang or what kind of skill shot?

The problem is that akali is weak early game so she needs her Q to farm easier because she's a melee mid laner. Her click and hit Q is how she can farm safely till 6. If you make the suggested changes it would just make it harder to farm earlier and nerf her instead imo

That would completely destroy her assassination potential. The only reliable way to kill someone as Akali is to get Mota procs off and if she misses her Q then she can't do anything and is completely useless. If you've ever accidentally hit a minion with your Q instead of the enemy champion you would know how it feels to not be able to do anything to them without that proc so making it a skillshot would make it impossible to do anything with her mid and late game
