The amount of "uh no's" sicken me. Most of the people who voted that, if not all, have never played old sion and hate him just because his model looked extremely outdated. I'm really gonna miss his ult, there's nothing quite like it anymore. It fit his lore very well, running into battle recklessly and being really hard to kill.

He was nothing like Veigar, especially late game. AP Sion snowballed with high early-mid damage, but was very easy to counter late game.

AD Sion was easy to counter until late game. Even then, he was still manageable so long as you didn't let him free farm.

His old ult was cool, but lets be honest- there was absolutely no cohesion in his old kit. It was just a bunch of random skills thrown together. No matter how you built Sion at least one was useless or questionable.

i played old sion, and its absolutely disgusting what you could do with him, plus his kit had no real direction in what it was supposed to be and his kit didnt really match up to what he was supposed to be. so no new sion is a far better improvement.

I don't like having a Sion where either his AP Q would deal damage on 80% of enemy's HP, or a very useless W when building AD.

People will tell you that they don't want old Sion back for one or more of three reasons.

They don't like the way Old Sion looked and prefer their champs new and shiny.
They'll echo something that Riot said like "He had no identity." or "He was hard to balance."
They'll defend that AD Sion wasn't viable and that the ONLY way to play was to pick AP Sion. This excuse comes with things like "You're just going to get kited all game." as if aren't things you would be using on AD Sion
