So I can Forge the 'Golden Championship Ashe Chroma and Ward' and I was wondering when i forge it will i get the Golden ward even if I don't have the basic ward? (I have Championship Ashe) .... or will it become a shard in 'Loot', or I won't get it and it will disappear?
MysterQ2 votesNormally you keep the prize, you just can't use it until you get the base.
But hopefully Riot sees this.
Edit: well actually normally Riot gives you the base as a reward too :(

Mysticman892 votesIt's (golden championship ashe chroma)+(Ward), as opposed to golden championship (ashe chroma+ward).
Which is to say, there is no 'base' ward, so you'll get the ward, and the chroma for the championship ashe skin. (Ward chromas are not a thing.)
If you don't have the base championship ashe skin, you won't actually be able to use the chroma for it, but if down the road you eventually get championship ashe the chroma would be there waiting for you.
The ward would be available regardless as long as you forge it.
