Why do people still play normal games instead of rank after 30?
Imagine playing this game for anything other than elo. Why waste time on norms if you gain nothing out of it for winning? In rank at least you get the satisfaction of taking others lp

Imagine playing a game you don't find fun. xD
Because:
Many individuals do not feel skilled enough to perform under pressure and still enjoy the safety normals provide
OMEGALUL
Because LoL's Ranked is the least fun experience I've had playing any video game I'm invested in.
less trolls in normal . All trolls are in ranked to troll
elo doesnt mean anything to me. what matters is being good at the game itself and having a diverse champion pool.
Norms are where people can go to practice champions they want to learn or simply play the game without the stress of Ranked. Yeah sure, Progression in Ranked is important. However Ranked can be an extremely stressful environment to some & there will always be players that don't like having to deal with it (myself included).

Imagine playing only SR when there are better modes out there like ARAM and Nexus Blitz (whenever riot brings it back is when I will log in again). Really have no reason to play ranked much less norms at all.
Missions? Playing with lower elo friends? Screwing around with friends? Learning a champ/role? Test build or strategy?
The list goes on and on.
