Honor Rewards and the bad feels

I have 15 keys. That is a lot. I don't have friends to play with. I play quite a bit, but I main support and ARAM and - be honest - Those are the hardest places to get S ranks. I understand that RIOT is a business, and I have happily given a significant ammount of money to RIOT of the last 6-7 years that I have played.

I just want you to understand that "rewarding" me with another key that I will almost certainly never be able to do anything with feels much more like a slap in the face than anything else. I would honestly rather get nothing - than a reminder that I am not super good at the game, especially when it is supposed to be a reward for me being a good guy. I am the dude in game who tries to keep people kind and focused on having fun.

I know that this is a new thing and there will be adjustments over time as you all figure it out. But seriously, when I see that, <3 - here a gift for keeping it friendly message, I kinda just wanna log out. I play less and as a result spend less real money since the changes. I am sure the experience is very different for people who haven't been around since season 1, but also....am I the guy you wanna lose?

Thanks for your time and for the awesome game.

Especially with ARAM, S-ranks are often more of a measure of how well you can exploit the grading algorithm rather than how good of a player you are. It's unfortunate, but playing selfishly (e.g. monopolizing CS and kills) is more likely to earn you an S-rank than playing in a team-focused way.
