Refusing Honor where it's not wanted

There have been games recently played where the other team knows they have a win and there's nothing your team can do to win, yet they honor you with Honorable Oppenent, there really needs to be a way to refuse honor and let them know it.

I don't get it... maybe they're honoring you because you got stomped and you didn't piss n moan the entire time? Idk... I guess I don't get your point.
