Ranking System + Toxic Players

I have been an avid player of League for several years now, having started around Season 2. Now that we're in Season 6, I would have to say that I am incredibly pleased with how far the updates and content has come.

However, there is one particular problem I have been faced with under the current system, something I have been struggling with for months now. Within this "more than duo" system, veteran players are being matched with fresh-starting players.

In Seasons 4 & 5 I would come out at least 50% W/L ratio. In contrast, this season has been an absolute joke for ranking, as I tend to find myself matched with players who have no concept of the game. These players are either non-ranked or poorly ranked players who get matched with higher-tier players. I often duo-queue but even STILL, I get matched with people who seem to not have any grasp of the solo lanes. As a result, I'm literally sitting at a 20-30% win rate when I do at least S or A in most of my games.

I play a main support roll, which could be an indication of my win rate as supports have little to no impact unless the rest of the team is able to communicate well. I understand I'm currently sitting at a lower than average MMR rating but I thought for the most part I would be matched with people with slightly higher MMR or at least an average MMR to be comprehensive and understanding of ranked games.

I know that solely as a player I cannot change the system itself, but I am desperate for advice on whether I should be playing a different roll or what I can do to prevent toxic, feeding or "vayne-ing" out players. It is definitely discouraging for me to continue playing if I just hop in a ranked game and before 10 minutes the opposing team is already ahead multiple objectives and there is at least a fed lane (or players who decide to play ranked for 40 minutes and then intentionally lose to get a lower MMR for more fun).

It may not pose much of a concern to anyone at Riot Games but I rather enjoy playing League. I have invested a lot of time and money into the game over the years because I love the design and the layout of Summoners Rift and I find each champion is very unique to someones particular play style and I find the game aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, with this/these ongoing unpleasant experiences, I find myself wanting to spend less time to play because of this and find myself more frustrated playing rather then having enjoyment unless i'm matched with 5 friends doing whatever.

I would imagine that as producers of the game that naturally, you would share a similar enthusiasm for and investment into the quality of the game for its users/consumers. Hopefully sympathize with/relate to my current dilemma/situation/relationship with the game/experience. Perhaps I am unlucky and developed 'tilt' for about 3 months now but I wouldn't have thought of sending an email unless I felt like this had been an uncommon issue.
