AHRI HAS A 57% WIN RATE
BALANCED
BALANCED
"Winrate means nothing" - Boards, whining about Yasuo/Leblanc/Lee Sin.
Indeed, it might just be that Ahri counters certain champions that're popular atm making her win rate completely understandable.
congrats riot you turned a fun balanced champion into an overpowered one for no reason at all.
Oh come on... I can't understand it. It's not like only Ahri used DFG, yet she was the only one to get a major buff this patch.
Out of all of the champions in the game. She's the only one who becomes next to useless with out it. Her kit was completely balanced around it after S3.
They killed off playing Ahri as a kite mage because they couldn't have both sides existing. Assassin Ahri could do too much damage without building as Mage Ahri. So Mage Ahri had to get gutted.
Yes there are champions who are hurt by the change. But none of them required the time. Before you say Veigar. His winrate hasn't really changed. It was high 40's before. It's high 40's now.

No, she wasn't, a challenger Ahri 1-trick pony in Korea never built DFG on Ahri. It's just, you needed skill outside of laning phase with Ahri, and that skill only comes with practice, what flavour of the month players don't do, so they say that a just below top tier Ahri is garbage.
Before she was changed she did not require Charm to get a kill. The only skill shot she required to assassinate was her Q.
She could preload W. R in, DFG->Q. DFG travels faster than her other spells. Throw him a charm to ensure the return Q hits. Aside from this, she brought a ton of teamfight damage with her W and R being auto-targeting. And her Q being low cooldown with true damage.
So she was an assassin mage. Who had easy assassinations Strong teamfight damage as a mage that required little skill Good waveclear Lane sustain
Something had to change. This would of been the perfect time to delete DFG like many people wanted. But instead they nerfed the mage side of her and enforced the assassin side. Requiring her to land her Charm to get kills.
I'm not saying she couldn't work without DFG after the changes. Just because some guy in challenger did it means that it was ideal. I'm fairly sure there are people who got to challenger playing almost only Urgot.

I honestly don't think that everyone has to play Ahri. People should suck it up and learn to play the actual champion, instead of crying for buffs because she is hard to play. If someone is bad at Ahri, they should fail horribly, instead of actually doing decently.

And yet everyone on the boards complained about how much weaker she got with the changes. They still continue to believe they are experts of balance and cry for nerfs on random champs they don't like fighting.
If they did any less, you'd be posting the same thread but for the opposite reason...
The changes just happened, nobody has learned how to counter her BRAND NEW MOBILITY. It's kind of a big deal. I say give it at least a week. It would be horrible to overcorrect and wreck her right after losing dfg.
Damn better nerf
and
her kiting potential became pretty high but in return she had to loose the damage amplify But I can say, she has nwo increased doging potential, and combined that wi th lifesteal, it makes her a pretty strong sustaining champion in lane. I dunno how the new ahri works in teamfightrs tho
You have to poke, poke, poke and only all in at the right moment. Unless you're really fed/ahead you won't kill anyone with E W Q (you cannot realistically get more than 1 or 2 R damages on 1 target in a teamfight) I personally prefer going rylai so I can get a bit riskier and actually get in range to W them, proc the 35% slow and then if they want to turn on me use Q to dodge things with the speed buff, repeat a few times until someone's low and mis-positions = ult E in.
To sum it up... she's a great kite mage, the playstyle is a lot different than what it was with the dfg imo.
I used to play her like this in s2.
you can't catch ahri now. she was already good at kiting before, now she's even better
Next time you do this, your picture should also reflect time fram the stats were taken from, as well as servers and game types. I could pretty well prove that Sona is obsenely op by showing only her ARAM winrate.
Just going to point out.. It's only super high, because she's not being perma banned like Zed/Leesin and others. Their win rate would be about as high or higher if they weren't being banned constantly.
