i think you can't get towershot if you're obscured, and you're pretty much immune to true sight.
Invisibility makes sure she can't dive with impunity and can be "revealed" completely if she's close enough to the tower now so if she's under tower you can now use point click and autos.
Most importantly if you use a tether now with the new patch notes though she stays revealed so you can target with stuff.
As Umbreon said.
Obscurity means that any form of reveal other than Towers will show her outline but you can't point and click on her, again, unless she's within a Tower's attack range.
Invisibility means that any form of reveal will allow you to click on her.
She obtained Obscurity with her rework because her base damages were low for an Assassin, heck, she had the highest TTK of all Assassins, and even a lot of mages had better TTK than her, and also because she's squishy. She had a good defense in Obscurity, so it was ok to be this squishy, but with that removal, she needs some buffs in the base defensive stats department.
They function the same normally, however, true sight merely reveals your outline when obscured, meaning you can see her, but you can't actually target her with autos or point and click abilities.
The exception is turret shots, which can still fire at you even when obscured. Unless that change wasn't actually implemented or I understood it wrong.
You know, for all intents and purposes in most match-ups, there isn't much of any difference. In key situations in certain match-ups, though, she isn't revealed by revealing abilities.
If she has regular invis, it takes one Jinx Zap or one Lee Q or one Karma tether and she basically has no defenses to survive long enough to do what she needs to do, which is why this change is horrible. She's balanced around needing more time to function, which gives the opponent time to react, but also having the tools to do those functions, which means she can't get straight dog piled on like any other assassin when they're cc'd once. I don't think the change will blow over well.
Obscurity is an improved version of Invisibility. You cannot be fully revealed or attacked if a true sight effect hits you.
Invisibility means you can be revealed and attacked if you're affected by any ability that grants True Sight.
Champions like
are good counters to Invisibility champions as they have True sight abilities in their kits.
(There's more but that's just a few that came to mind)
