The current state, or so it feels to me.

I'm finding myself having less and less fun playing the game than I once did. After some thought, I boiled down the why of it:

Unless you're the fed bot laner or some super-hard cc tank who has a decent team to back you up, it feels like you have no agency during a game, no matter how well you perform in the early-mid area (pre-20 minutes). You can be fed as hell coming out of lane, destroyed your lane opponent, your opposing jungler, two towers, and kissed their mother goodbye in the morning. It doesn't seem to matter.

In past seasons, it always seemed like one had the chance to affect the game's outcome, no matter your role. It no longer does. That feeling is removing the fun from the casual or solo queue game.

That feeling only gets accentuated when you have people who bitch about being auto-filled by insta-locking some assassin and then either role stealing, flaming, feeding, or all of the above.

As far as solutions, I'm not sure how one would solve the issue, but I figured I'd put this up here and see if a civil discussion couldn't be had.
