Junglers Need To Play Their Role

If you are a decent jungler and you know you are, this is not pointed at you TLDR at the bottom

Now since that's out of the way, literally what are you junglers doing? I'm not sure if it's just recently that people are newly trying jungle or if people are just getting worse as the days go on.. but you need to change what you're doing. I got told yesterday that Yi should not gank under any circumstances until his devour is sated. Sounds legit.

I'm sure my other mid / top laners can agree with me when I say sometimes we get too aggressive for a kill. We tower dive, we get ganked for being too pushed, we survive with 10 hp only to get killed by a caster minion, and the likes. Sometimes, it is our faults we are losing. But, how are you junglers going to outright say "No" when we NEED your assistance?

I'm talking about being under our tower for the past 5 minutes and calling for help repeatedly but getting ignored. I'm talking about having to go back to base constantly because the enemy jungler is doing his job and camping our lane. I'm talking about having you, the jungler, actually contributing to the game and not making it a 4v5 until late game.

Granted, there are some champs that we do need to wait for until they can gank efficiently. Skarner. Shyvana. Akali. When they hit 6, there's a huge power spike. But what about everyone else? 13 minutes in and you still can't gank? Why is this?

And I get it if the enemy is extremely fed. No one wants to gank a level 6 4 - 0 Annie Tibbers = Death. That's just asking for a bad time. But if they literally only have 1 or 2 kills over me and they are pushed into my tower, why don't you ever help and just let them snowball? I get it if I'm asking for help but I'm pushed into their tower so there is no safe way to gank. I understand, I need to let them push a bit before you can come in. But besides that?

This very well must be a QQ thread, but I'm tired of junglers just doing their own thing and not assisting the team.

Someone told me yesterday that I should go to another lane instead and just let them take my tower. But where am I supposed to go if your lanes are pushed or I'm starting to fall very far behind? One game I did this, and in the time it took me to go to another lane and score a double kill, the enemy top laner took our top inhib, which he started from our second tower (granted I let my minions push a bit before I left). And then I was flamed for being useless, even though the jungler never attempted to help me. Fun times.

Also, I know and everyone else knows the phrase "junglers don't win your lanes" but they do help a lot..

TLDR; Junglers, if someone needs your assistance or is starting to fall behind, actually help them and don't let the enemy snowball

I could get a friend to play jg or whatever but that's not gonna help everyone else. When I jungle, I at least try to help my team when they ask. If it doesn't work out, then fine. But at least I'm doing something other than farm.. Anyone else feeling the same way?
