Azir nerf, and how i think should be done.

im korean fob(fresh out of boat) who is not fluent in english but.. ill try(this is my first discussion too) I really loved to play azir since it got released, even when it was really buggy(when it just got released). it was one of my most played champ in season 4, next to fiora. azir is my favourite, and dream champion - a game character who can summon stuff and control it to attack enemies. anyways now im kinda sad azir got really nerfed.. anyway i think this is what should be done:

  1. make his w range increase by level up(to the original range before the nerf. nerfing w range not only nerfed his early game but also late game) OR reduce q cd by 0.5
  2. leave q dmg nerf (i see why they nerfed q dmg)
  3. lower the e dmg
  4. lower w dmg. OR make his w range increase to the original range before the nerf, BUT make his w base dmg 0, but increase his ap ratio by a bit, like 0.05~0.1 . early game = shit, late game = gooooooood idk.. i really hate that w range nerf.. i hope it can come back with lower azir dmg or something..

The only thing they have to do to make him balanced and fair is remove that range nerf. That's literally all the have to do to make him playable again, and not the lowest winrate in every division.

Azir main here.

  1. Agreed. When he was on PBE, this was one of the things I suggested. Listen, riot did not.
  2. Honestly, no. A higher cooldown would honestly be ideal. Either that or only leave the nerf at low levels.
  3. E damage? Seriously? No.
  4. Do you mean his tower smite or his soldiers? I'm okay with nerfing his base while buffing his ratios.

My solution is as follows:

  1. revert Q damage nerf
  2. drastically increase Q cooldown at low levels (talking 18 seconds or so here)
  3. W range now scales with skill rank
  4. possibly increase W ratio, but only after the other changes have been performed to see the impact on his winrate

The whole thing with Azir that people seem to be failing to understand is that he was just annoying. His win rate was always less than 50.
