Platinum Promo's- places me with three silvers..........

This is my third time in my plat promo's, and every single time I have games like this. Why should I be playing with silver and low gold players when trying to get into plat... it doesn't make any sense.

I love playing support, but it's the worst when playing with a silver 2 Ashe who did about 1/4 (maybe less) of the damage in fights than she needed to. the Ashe dealt 23.4k damage when both of my teams tankier champs both dealt over 50k. The enemy support did 33.4k damage as well. last time I checked an adc should out damage a support bard in a 53 minute game...

sorry this just turned into a rant about that specific game, but my point still stands. I shouldn't be playing with silver elo teams in my plat promo's.

This is what dynamic queue does, lower elo boosted animals group up in oremade, they get the mmr punishment so they will face higher ranked players, and higher rank players will also fill the team with biosted premades, making the solo players who filled in the left over positions have to compete with players at the same or higher level with boosted teammates.

So I was G4 one game and I was paired with two Plats, a silver, and an unranked. I was told that it was because the plats had low MMR, which is why they were paired with me. Then my MMR was low as well, which is why I was paired with a silver and unranked.

WELCOME TO LEAGUE. So happy this game is dying.

That's easy: to prove that you yourself are Plat caliber. The pointI guess is to have you as the strongest player on your team so that any victories will rely on you explicitly. Otherwise you could get carried through promos far too easily.

The total match mmr is still equal for both teams so it's still fair.

Also consider when queuing to restart queue if it gets too long to minimize how far it might search in mmr.

I'd say the RengoRengar was the real reason you lost that one

Well after checking op.gg there is something you may want to consider in the future. Yes, the stuff about matchmaking and DQ is relevant, but that is NOT the only reason for the players you are paired with.

Part of climbing is learning to manage one's MMR, and yours is significantly lower than it should be for a Gold 1 player. Not massively off, but its only about gold 2 level. Check op.gg to see what I mean. It also says you were silver last season, so if I had to take a guess I would say that you likely placed closer to bronze when the resets happened for this season.

If you could sir, if you would like further assistance, state what your placement record was, where you placed this season, and how much LP you are currently gaining per win on average. I'd be happy to help provide you with some tips to help you learn to manage your MMR appropriately so that you can make climbing easier on yourself but I require some more detailed information first to be able to do so.

Edit: I SHOULD mention before I forget that pairing you with a player almost 300 MMR below you has become common place and this should not happen. That, unfortunately, is an inherent aspect of DQ and the quality of matches suffers because the system is poorly designed. But not to worry, even that has a way to be dealt with which I can get to after you provide me with some more information.

Oh wow, Gold 4 was the highest you even faced on the enemy team to get into plat?

Holy shit.
