Gnar Under powered

Like, we really need a Gnar buff. As a Gnar main, I find it hard to out trade most meta top laners such riven, jayce, maoki, etc. It seems that when they buffed Gnar's W earlier in Season 6, it made him a somewhat strong Top Laner again but not really broken. It brought him back into the game. However, 2-3 patches later they nerf his W HARDER then they buffed it, basically nerfing it hard. Then they added around 4-5 more seconds to his E that was never really needed... His play rate is around 1.5-3% play rate now. So can we please get a buff to him to bring him back towards the future? Thoughts?

he's still good. need a good team though. gnar in solo q is cancer to the person playing gnar because teams are always so disoriented with teamwork.

EXACTLY. Like i still think he needs slight buffs so his Solo Q aspect is easier on him. Idk maybe thats just selfish i just find it hard to do a ton of damage early.

Its like this for all game modes & rotating ones.... This nerf wasn't really fair at all. he simply blows up far too easy in this stupid damage meta before he could become useful. all these poke champs & poke mages make him nearly unplayable.

Im telling you, his damage spikes are horrible now. most top and mid laners push him out by easy poke. I mean maybe even just buff his Q a bit so he can at least poke back efficiently

Very... & his range is bad hence why we are forced to build tank because you are gotta get hit when you try to even go in. These snow ball 20 min or less games have made his late game spike pointless now.

Finally someone gets it! I used to main gnar top But then I started running into more yasuos and jayces and other top metas. He's kinda hard to work with now.

nah its not just that. your overall power spikes he used to have are gone. 1v1ing other laners is kinda difficult unless you have item advantage or a lead. Other top laners do so much more significant damage to him than he can dish back out. his laning phase is hard to not get nuked early do to his squishyness
