Blitzcrank’s Pull

Who in the right mind decided Blitzcrank should even have a pull? It makes it a one sided game every game. He pulls someone and they are forced to flashe to survive. It’s a simple ability to lane, zero skill involved. I will never play blitz or unlock him even because he in UNFAIR and his silence shouldn’t even exist. His kit is so overhauled and either should just not be in league, or they actually NEED to get rid of that hook what the actually fuck lol. Make it a rocket punch that slows enemies, anything else. He is overpowered and ruins all games he is in, even if he is winning for my team. It is no fun at all with a blitz in my game regardless. Something needs to be done ASAP it’s ridiculous.

I wouldn't say Blitz is overpowered just off his hook alone. He is a play making support like Thresh or Nautilus. Blitz existed like this since season 1. Early game it has such a high cooldown and mana cost that if he misses it he's just a walking ward. Additionally there are some champs that ignore the pull even if hooked by it. If you buffer Ezreal's or Tristana's hops right as the hook hits you, you don't get pulled back.

Mid to late game is where he can really shine. But that's not all on him. The state of the game now has such high damage that getting hit by a single Blitz hook will mean you die. The same can be said by getting hit by a Thresh or Nautilus hook. It all comes down to being able to dodge it or hide behind minions.

I guarantee you that Riot will not remove Blitz's hook. It's the most defining ability he has. Much like Garen and Katarina spinning to win before and after their reworks. You're only option is to either perma ban him, or learn to dodge the hook.

thanks for the responds. have had spent the last 7 years of league shunning Blitz making me just think he is for the noobs. I recently decided I would be gross and play him. Turns out it's not all ggs, honestly Camille has stupid range, garen has crazy tank, jax has dumb sustain, but that is all that makes them unique. I will just have to live with the pain that if i get hooked knocked up and snared by the jhin to my death. i do that dirty shit with noc anyways.

So a couple of issues with this statement, first Blitzcrank has skill involved since the hook is a skill-shot, if you say zero skill then Zoe is for everyone.

Secondly, complaining about "one hook one death" is insufficient for him to be considered op or removing his defining ability has said by Akashic Torment. For example, there is less counter play to Zed's R than Blitzcrank's Q. You die faster from Talon (without any real skill-shot) than from Blitzcrank (which makes you think about, why do you need a silence when you can play Talon).

The list goes on, the point is you should try and look at Blitzcrank like any other champion with strengths and weaknesses...except maybe Yasuo who being 0/10, at 3 items can penta. Blitzcrank can't do this thing that samurais do item 3095
